A STORY LIKE NO OTHER…
The fairy tale begins in France in the heart of the 70s, after being noticed in a Malaysian bar by two girls seduced by his voice, he boarded a plane with a one way ticket to Paris. Shake, spotted by Orlando, brought life into French music with eclecticism, open-mindedness and fresh air that it often lacks.
A string of memorable hits like "You Know I Love You", which, following its premiere with Michel Drucker on "Rendez-vous du Dimanche", sold 40,000 copies in one day. “When You Can't Have The Girl You Love”, “I Sing This Song For You”, “Nothing Is More Beautiful Than Love”, and of course the standout “Let Me Be Your Number One”.
French music icon, Dalida, said of Shake, “ He comes from afar, but his talent deserved the trip.” He has been knighted by the Sultan of Johor for representing and introducing Malaysia to a European public. Shake was awarded the the prestigious Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres et du Mérite medal in France.
